What every check covers

Each address is tested the same way, whether it arrives in a file of a million rows or one API call.

Format and typos

Addresses are read the way mail servers read them. Common slips like gmial.com or yahoo.con come back with a suggested fix.

Domain and mail server

We confirm the domain exists, find its mail servers and check it accepts email at all. Domains that shut down are caught here.

Mailbox handshake

We ask the receiving server whether the mailbox exists and close the connection before any message is sent.

Catch-all detection

Some domains accept mail for every address. We test for this, so a catch-all address is never reported as confirmed valid.

Disposable inboxes

We keep an up-to-date list of thousands of temporary inbox services and flag addresses that use them.

Role and free addresses

Shared inboxes such as info@ and free providers such as Gmail are flagged separately, so you decide how to treat them.

Built to handle other people's data carefully

The lists you upload contain personal data about your contacts. We treat them that way.

Deleted on a schedule

Uploaded files and results are deleted automatically 30 days after a check finishes, or immediately when you delete them.

Used only for your checks

We never sell, rent or share your lists, and we do not use them to build a database of our own.

Encrypted in transit

The website, dashboard and API only accept connections over HTTPS.

GDPR, DPDP and CCPA

We act as your data processor for the lists you upload. Our privacy policy explains how we meet these laws.

GST invoices
