BounceBell is for keeping legitimate email lists clean. This policy describes what that means in practice. It is part of our terms of service.
You may
- Check addresses of people who gave them to you, such as customers, subscribers and leads.
- Check addresses at the point of collection, for example in signup and checkout forms.
- Check business contact data you are lawfully allowed to process.
You may not
- Use the results to send spam or messages that break anti-spam laws, such as the CAN-SPAM Act, the EU ePrivacy rules, Canada's CASL or India's IT rules.
- Guess or generate addresses (for example firstname.lastname combinations) to find out which ones exist, unless you have a lawful reason to contact that person.
- Check addresses that were stolen, leaked, or harvested from websites without permission.
- Try to find out whether a specific person has an account somewhere in order to track, harass or harm them.
- Resell BounceBell checks or results as your own service without a written agreement with us.
- Interfere with the service: overloading it, getting around limits, reverse engineering it, or sharing API keys outside your organisation.
What happens if this policy is broken
We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break this policy, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it is safe to do so, we will contact you first.
