Every address you check gets one of six results.

Valid

The mailbox exists and accepts mail. Send to it.

Invalid

The address, domain or mailbox does not exist, or the mailbox is full. Remove it. Sending to invalid addresses causes bounces that hurt your sender reputation.

Catch-all

The domain accepts mail for every address, so its mail server will not confirm whether this exact mailbox exists. Review it. These addresses are deliverable but riskier.

Role account

A shared inbox such as info@ or sales@ that exists. Review it. Role addresses often reach several people and complain more.

Disposable

A temporary inbox service. Remove it. These addresses stop working within hours or days.

Unknown

The mail server did not give a clear answer in time. Unknown results are free and you can check them again later.
